Terms and Conditions
This Terms and Conditions of Use of D*Card (“Terms and Conditions”) commences and becomes binding between DST Communications Sdn Bhd on the one part (“DSTCom”) and the holder of the D*Card (“D*Card holder”) on the other part from the date the of issue of the D*Card.
The D*Card is a single card that provides loyalty rewards and a debit card function. DSTCom is collaborating with Standard Charted Bank in delivering these privileges to the customers. The D*Card cardholder agreed and acknowledged that by using the D*Card, the terms and conditions applicable to the debit card facility from Standard Chartered Bank and Master Card shall become applicable and effective on the D*Card Cardholder in addition to DSTCom’s terms and conditions for D*Card as stated herein.
Issuance of D*Card
DST D*Card(“D*Card”) is open for application to all DST Customers. To qualify, the Customer must first hold an active account or subscription to DSTCom’s mobile services and in good standing, as determined by DSTCom.
Upon becoming a D*Card holder, if the D*Card holder also holds an active account or subscription to other DST Services, the D*Card holder maybe entitled to all privileges provided by DSTCom’s affiliates.
All transaction made by or using the D*Card shall not be used for commercial transaction as explained above. DST reserves the right to amend and revise any such reward points and/or privileges earned from such commercial transaction. DST shall not be liable for any such losses, cost, liability, indemnity that may be suffered by the D*Card cardholder. The D*Card holder shall fully indemnify, upon demand, DSTCom’s, its affiliates and merchants for any expenses and cost arising from honouring any privileges earned from such commercial transaction. of the Company, or the Company’s Internet service providers.
DST further reserves the right not to issue or reject application of any D*Card at its discretion without giving any reason.
D*Card Cardholder is deemed to have consented to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as varied/supplemented/ amended from time to time as and when made upon issuance of the D*Card to the D*Card Cardholder.
The D*Card may be terminated if the D*Card Cardholder breaches the terms and conditions and in the occurrence of any of the following events:
PRIMA account inactive or cancel/suspend; or
PRIMA account permanently terminated; or
Prima account blacklisted
Shall bear the name of the registered owner of the DSTCom mobile number.
Shall be valid for three (3) years.
Use of D*Card
The discount or privilege extended will be available only when the purchase is made with the presentation of the D*Card to the participating merchant.
The provision of goods and/or services of the participating merchants is subject to terms and conditions of use of the participating merchants. In the event of conflict between this Terms and Conditions and terms and conditions of use of participating merchant, this Terms and Conditions shall prevail;
The D*Card is not valid on promotional goods and/or services or goods and/or services already discounted, unless otherwise indicated. of the Company, or the Company’s Internet service providers.
All discounts and offers are subject to stock, seating and occupancy (where relevant) availability.
DST reserves the right to make a final decision in case of any disputes arising. DST’s decision on any such dispute is final and binding.
DST further reserves the right to withdraw any participating merchants without prior notice to the Privilege Cardholder.
All D*Card Cardholders are entitled to participate in the Reward Points system (“Reward Points”).
Reward Points will be recorded in D*Card Cardholder’s points record. The Reward Points are rewarded based on the D*Card Cardholder’s usage of the following DST Services, for the time being (subject to addition and/or deletion from time to time)-
Monthly rental charges
Traffic charges for all local and international incoming/outgoing calls
Traffic charges for all Value Added Services used.
Purchases of starter packs and/or recharge cards at DST branches only (with prior registration of at least one (1) Easi number in the Privilege Cardholder’s account).
Purchases of all telecommunications products and services
Service repair charges
Purchases of prepaid Easi.
DST may, from time to time forward a statement of Reward Points (“Reward Points Summary”) to each D*Card holder setting out the opening points balance, points recorded and deducted during the period and the closing Reward Points balance.
Accumulated Reward Points can only be redeemed upon full settlement of outstanding bills. of the Company, or the Company’s Internet service providers.
Disputes over the Reward Points Summary must be notified to DST by the date specified in the relevant Reward Points Summary. The Reward Points Summary will otherwise be taken to be correct and binding on the member. DST’s decision on any such dispute is final and binding.
Deduction of Reward Points
The number of Reward Points set out in the then current reward schedule for a reward claimed will be deducted from the Reward Points balance of the D*Card Cardholder’s point record, with the oldest points being deducted first.
DST may also deduct from the Reward Points balance in a D*Card Cardholder’s Reward Points record –
any Reward Points recorded in error; and
any Reward Points relating to a transaction which is cancelled or where a refund is given
The Reward Points are non-transferable.
The Reward Point must be redeemed within a period of 36 months from the date of when Reward Points were first rewarded. Any Reward Points which are not used by a Privilege Cardholder to claim an award within 36 months from the date of when Reward Points were first rewarded will expire and be deducted from the Reward Points balance in a D*Card Cardholder’s Reward Points record.
Any unexpired Reward Points will only be extended or brought forward to the following year if the D*Card Cardholder continues to maintain an active account with DST Group.
If the D*Card Cardholder’s PRIMA account is terminated by DST Group or at the request of the D*Card Cardholder, then the Reward Points will be forfeited
The Reward Voucher (“Voucher”) entitles the bearer to purchase selected goods and services on the face value of the Voucher..
The Voucher must be used to its face value in full and cannot be exchanged for cash in full or in part.
The Voucher cannot be replaced if lost.
The Voucher is valid for six (6) months from the date of issue.
The Voucher is redeemable only at the participating merchant outlet stated on the issued Voucher.
The Voucher is not valid on promotional goods and/or services or goods and/or services already discounted, unless otherwise indicated.
DST is not liable for –
Any delay in replacing a D*Card or for any unauthorised use of a D*Card;
The contestant understands that the Company accepts no responsibility for server outages, network difficulties and other technical difficulties beyond the control of the Company, or the Company’s Internet service providers.
Any failure of a D*Card holder to notify a participating merchant that a transaction is a DST Group D*Card transaction.
Any delay by or failure of a participating merchant to notify DST of the details of a DST D*Card transaction;
Any privileges not being available for any reason;
Any failure to notify members of any changes in this Terms and Conditions, participating merchants, qualifying goods and services.
The suspension and/or termination of the DST D*Card program.
Loss (whether direct or indirect) of profits, business or anticipated savings or for any indirect or consequential loss whatsoever and in event that DST Group liability in connection with this. Terms and Conditions shall be limited up to to three(3) times the monthly subscription fee payable for the PRIMA service by the Privilege Cardholder.
The terms and conditions shall be updated from time to time and made available at the DST website: www.www.dst-group.com.
The updated terms and conditions shall be effective and applicable on the date stated on the website.
This Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Brunei Darussalam and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of Brunei Darussalam.
