Registration

+ I am a new customer and would like to register for a Prima postpaid plan. What is the process of registration, and how much do I have to pay?

Thank you for your interest in our Prima postpaid plan! The following outlines the requirements:

Personal (Local)

  • Valid Original IC/Passport to indicate you are 18 and above
  • Proof of employment

Fees Payable:

  • $50 deposit
  • $25 License Fee
  • 1 month advance rental
  • Upfront handset payment (if you're signing up for a Prima postpaid plan, bundled with a handset)

Personal (Foreigner)

  • Valid original I.C. of applicant not be less than 3 months from expiry OR passport with valid work pass/permit not less than 3 months expiry, sighted and copied (should the original I.C. be unavailable).
  • Self employed applicants must produce Company Certificate of Registration & Section 16 & 17 (for Business Only)

Fees Payable:

  • $100 deposit
  • $25 License Fee
  • 1 month advance rental
  • Upfront handset payment (if you're signing up for a Prima postpaid plan, bundled with a handset)
  • For any 24-month handset contract plan registrations, an additional deposit of $300 is required. This amount is refunded upon the expiry of your contract plan.

Personal (Student)

  • Applicant must be between 18 to 25 years old.
  • Letter or document of proof that the applicant is enrolled in a local educational institution that will not expire in less than 3 months from the date of registration.
  • Valid original I.C.

Students studying at the following educational institutions are eligible for the student plan:

Fees Payable:

  • $50 (local) / $100 (foreigner)
  • $25 License Fee
  • 1 month advance rental
  • Upfront handset payment (if you're signing up for a Prima postpaid plan, bundled with a handset)

Company Registration

  • Company’s authorization letter written in letterhead and bearing Company’s stamp with Director's Signature
  • Valid Original IC of the authorized person sighted and copied (not less than 3 months before expiry date for Green IC holders)
  • Company’s Certificate of Registration and Section 16 & 17 or Certificate of Incorporation or Form X or Power of Attorney
  • Directors must not have any outstanding bills on any existing personal accounts

Fees Payable:

  • $50 deposit
  • $25 License Fee
  • 1 month advance rental

Registration for Prima mobile postpaid plans are available at all DST branches, except for DST Rimba. For more information, please call 151.

+ I am an existing customer on Easi and would like to register for a Prima postpaid plan. What is the process of registration if I want to keep my number?

The registration process will be the same as new registrations for Prima postpaid plans.

However, if you would like to migrate your existing number for your Prima postpaid number, you will need to pay an additional $10 administration fee. An example of the fees payable are as follows:

Fees Payable:

  • $10 administration fee
  • $50 (local)/ $100 (foreigner)
  • $25 License Fee - License Fee will be charge according to your Easi license fee date.
  • 1 Month advance rental

+ I am not working at the moment. How can i register for the Prima plans?

The same process of registration applies, as mentioned above, but you will need a guarantor. The guarantor must be a Bruneian citizen, aged 18 years and above. He/She must be employed with a fixed income, no debt with DST and not blacklisted.

+ Where can I register for these new Prima postpaid plans?

You can register at any of our DST branches, except DST Rimba.

+ I am no longer on the student plan, how can I register for the normal Prima plan?

If you are no longer on your student plan, you may change it to a normal Prima Plan at your nearest DST branch, except for DST Rimba.

+ I am already an existing Prima postpaid customer. What happens to my plan?

Existing Prima postpaid customers (contract and non-contract) will find that they will notice changes in their voice, SMS and data bundles as follows:

Prima 20

  • Existing Bundle: 200 Local Voice, 200 Local SMS, 500 MB Local Data
  • New Bundle (Non-Contract): 200 Local Voice, 200 Local SMS, 1GB Local Data

Prima 35

  • Existing Bundle: 500 Local Voice, 480 Local SMS, 20 IDD SMS, 3GB Local Data
  • New Bundle (Non-Contract): 500 Local Voice, 500 Local SMS, 20 IDD SMS, 3GB Local Data
  • New Bundle (24-Month Handset Contract): 500 Local Voice, 500 Local SMS, 20 IDD SMS, 6GB Local Data

Prima 55

  • Existing Bundle: 1500 Local Voice, 700 Local SMS, 100 IDD SMS, 5GB Local Data
  • New Bundle (Non-Contract): 1500 Local Voice, 700 Local SMS, 100 IDD SMS, 7.5GB Local Data

New Prima Plans: Existing Subscribers

+ I am currently a Prima postpaid user with the Prima Basic 20 plan and have also subscribed to add-on data bundles per month. What will happen to my subscriptions and add-on bundles?

Your add-on bundles will remain the same. However, you are free to change your selection of bundles by applying at DST branches.

+ I am currently a Prima postpaid user with the PRIMA 165 plan. What happens to my data bundles?

Existing Prima customers on the 3G Prima 165 plan have the option to keep their current plan, or they can choose a much better offer with our 4G Prima 105 plan.

Existing Prima 165 (B$165/month) Bundle:

  • Unlimited Local Voice
  • Unlimited Local SMS
  • 20GB Local Data

New Prima 105 (B$105/month) Non-Contract Bundle:

  • Unlimited Local Voice
  • Unlimited Local SMS
  • 100 IDD SMS
  • 50GB Local Data (Unlimited)

New Prima 105 (B$105/month) 12-Month Contract Bundle:

  • Unlimited Local Voice
  • Unlimited Local SMS
  • 100 IDD SMS
  • 100GB Local Data (Unlimited)

+ I am currently subscribed to an iPhone or Samsung contract plan with DST, what happens to my existing bundles?

Your current bundles will be updated to revised bundles according to your Prima Contract Plan and bill cycle without incurring any penalty fees. Your contract period of 24 months will not be affected.

Existing customers with either an iPhone or Samsung contract plan with us will be automatically upgraded according to the 12 month-contract bundle plan according to your subscription without incurring any penalty fees. These bundles will be automatically reflected in your next bill cycle.

However, for existing contract plans which are not listed in the newly available PRIMA plans, our Customer Service Agents will provide you with your best possible option.

 

Services, Rates & Charges

+ Do the free local calls and local SMS include calls and SMS to other local mobile operators and landlines?

Yes, they do include calls and SMS to local mobile operators and landlines.

+ What will happen once I fully utilise the local data on my bundle?

You will be charged $0.01/200KB after fully utilizing your data bundle if you're on:

  • Prima 20, Prima 35 and Prima 55.
  • Prima Contract 35 and Prima Contract 55 (12 months contract - without device)
  • Prima Contract 35 and Prima Contract 55 (24 months contract - with device)
  • Prima Student Contract 25

No charge ($0.00) after fully utilizing your data bundle, but our Fair Usage Policy applies, if you're on:

  • Prima 85 and Prima 105
  • Prima Contract 85 and Prima Contract 105 (12 month contract - without device)
  • Prima Contract 85 (24 month contract - with device)

+ Where can i pay my bills, once I've subscribed to these Prima postpaid plans?

  • At DST branches
  • Online on MyDST Account, by clicking here
  • At Post Offices
  • At ATM Machines
  • On BIBD online

+ How can I know if my contract is expiring? (for Student or normal Prima Plan)

You will receive an SMS notification 1 week before your expiry. You may also inquire at any DST branch or call our hotline DSTCare 151.

+ Can I upgrade my plan while I'm on contract?

You may upgrade from your 12-month contract plan to a 24-month handset contract plan at any time during the contract period and receive a waiver on the penalty fee. The 24-month contract duration will commence upon upgrade to the new handset contract plan.

+ Do I have to pay anything if I'd like to upgrade my Prima postpaid plan?

No payment is required for the upgrade of your plan. Upgrade of 4G Prima Plans also applicable for 2G and 3G subscribers.

+ I am still in a 3G Prima Plan, am I entitled to the revised bundles?

The revised bundles are only applicable for 4G Prima Plans. You may upgrade to 4G Prima to enjoy the amazing bundles.

+ What are the standard mobile rates and charges (after utilizing bundles?

Outgoing Calls

  • PEAK - Mondays to Fridays (06:00:00 – 18:59:59) - $0.20/minute
  • OFF-PEAK - Mondays to Fridays (19:00:00 – 05:59:59) - $0.10/minute
  • WEEKEND - Saturdays to Sundays (00:00:00 – 23:59:59) - $0.10/minute

Incoming Calls:

  • DST to DST - Free
  • DST from DST (Roamer) - Free
  • DST from other local mobile operators - Free
  • DST from international numbers - Free
  • DST (Roamer) - Prevailing Local Rates + IDD

Short Message Services (SMS):

  • DST to DST or other local mobile operators - B$0.03/SMS

Data / Internet Access:

  • B$0.01/200KB

DST has implemented a “Fair Usage Policy (FUP)” Data Usage Limits to maintain the quality of mobile data service. This is to ensure that all our subscribers have an equal opportunity to enjoy DST network.

+ Is there a way for me to check my remaining service bundle balance and usage?

Yes, simply dial the following, and then press the send/call button:

  • To check your remaining local data, SMS and voice bundle balance, dial *401#
  • To check your current bill balance, dial *402#
  • For data roaming add-ons, dial *410#
  • To view usage and purchase data add-ons, dial *433#

+ How do I purchase data add-ons?

To view usage and purchase data add-ons, dial *433#, and press the send/call button.

  • 1GB (30-day validity) - $8.00
